Poster Guidelines
Guidelines for the preparation of posters
Posters will be presented in paper/tissue format only in the congress.
Your poster must have a size of 90 cm wide x 120 cm long.
The posters will be displayed on panels set up in the facilities of the Conference Centre. The authors are required to hang the poster on the first day of the Congress in its assigned place (the organisation will provide adequate material for its placement) and remove it on the last day of the Congress.
Divide the poster into sections (e.g. title, message, introduction, methods, results and conclusions). Make it clear in which order they should be read by numbering them (1, 2, 3 …).
Authors should be next to their poster during the session assigned for its presentation. You will have four minutes to present it and three minutes for questions from attendees.

The Message
- The poster must be written in English.
- To get delegates to read your poster, you must have a clear message that answers the question.
- This should be prominently displayed as it may be the only part that is read.
- What is the most important aspect, finding, or issue raised by your poster?
Keep it simple and clear
Posters with too much information, too much colour and too much design have weak messages.
Clarity is the key
A simple graphic (in colour), table, or photo will attract attention and facilitate understanding. Too many will confuse. Please check the Poster Template on the congress website.

Golden Rules!
- The goal of a poster is not to explain every aspect of an experiment, but to show the aspect that can be presented through the poster medium.
- In a poster, the medium and the message are closely related. What you have done and what the result was should be said in large print, simply and be immediately visible to the viewer.
REMEMBER !
Most people who pass by your poster are not interested in details - think how much of other people's posters you read! - give them a handout instead.
